Mission Statement
The mission of Adel Partners is to improve the quality of life, create a sense of community, preserve the rich heritage and strengthen the economic resources of the Adel area.
Vision Statement
Through community involvement, along with directed growth, Adel has a sense of pride, accomplishment and security looking forward to an optimistic future of continuing improvement of quality of life.
Goals and Strategies
Adel Partners will design and implement a comprehensive marketing plan for Adel.
This goal will include strategies such as website redevelopment; “branding” Adel with a consistent marketing theme; focusing on Adel’s tourism assets; development of an Interstate 80 signage program in cooperation with the Iowa DOT; welcoming new residents and businesses and providing the community with the necessary tools to market Adel.
Adel Partners will preserve and expand Adel’s economic base through community involvement in order to attract, retain and expand all business sectors.
This goal will include strategies such as conducting a Consumer Needs Survey; marketing available buildings and actively recruiting businesses; developing incentives to support the business sector; ensuring affordable housing opportunities; and expanding the technology infrastructure for Adel.
Adel Partners will ensure that Adel’s history and historic infrastructure is maintained and celebrated.
This goal will include strategies such as supporting brick street restoration efforts; partnering with the City of Adel on beautification efforts; partnering with the City’s Historic Preservation Commission to enhance their efforts and continuing to celebrate and share Adel’s valuable history of place.
Adel Partners will be responsive to the needs of its members and the community through professional management, fiscal responsibility and visionary leadership.
This goal will include strategies such as the continued development of the strategic plan; creation of a committee structure to support the new goals; enhancing the benefits of the membership program; continued sponsorship of special events and promotions; partnering with other local civic organizations to work toward a common vision and goals.
