Board of Directors

Lori is an independent insurance agent and the new owner of Reich & Loynachan Insurance. Lori, her husband Chris, and 3 daughters moved to Adel in 1987. As an active volunteer, Lori was a Girl Scout leader and member of the ADM Fine Arts Boosters for several years prior to joining the Partners board in 2005.

John is the owner operator of Adel Auto Parts Corp, a NAPA store he has owned since 2001. John has been a chamber board member for 6 years and is a past president. He also serves on the following committees for the Chamber: Marketing, Sweet Corn Festival, Brick Street Car Show, and Stage and Pavilion. John has also been active in local community events where he was involved in coaching youth sports, Habit for Humanity and church mission events. John and his wife, Lorinda, are members of Faith Lutheran Church. They have two sons, Chris and Mark, and two granddaughters.

Doug is the Vice President and Branch Manager for Raccoon Valley Bank in Adel, Iowa. Doug and his wife, Jan have lived in Adel for 29 years. They have two sons, Josh and Justin, and 4 grandsons. Doug has been an active volunteer in the Adel community for several years. He has been involved in youth sports, cub scouts, ADM high school baseball, football and track volunteer, Drake Relays official, past member of the Adel Lions Club, Adel Kiwanis and the Dallas Center Rotary. Doug is also involved in his church, Faith Lutheran Church, as the church treasurer. Doug has been an Adel Partners board member since 2006 and volunteered at the Adel Sweet Corn Festival for the last 14 years.

Denise  is a certified public accountant with Short & Company CPA, PLC. She joined the firm in 2006 after working for the State Auditor’s office for over eleven years. Denise has lived in Adel since 1995 with her husband Tim and they have three sons. Besides staying active with her boys, Denise is also a member of Adel Kiwanis and Faith Lutheran Church.

Tim is an independent agent in a local insurance agency, Russell-Slater Insurance. He has managed the office for five years & been a part owner for four years. Tim has been a board member since 2008. He is also active in the Adel Rotary Club. Tim’s wife, Kinzee, is a counselor in the Waukee School district. They have 2 sons, Adam and Trey.

Colby is a Vice President of Peoples Trust & Savings Bank in Adel. Colby has been a chamber board member since 2006. Colby is also a member of the Adel Rotary Club and attends New Hope Church in Adel. Colby is a native of Adel and graduated from A-D-M (Adel) in 1997. Colby is an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan despite graduating from Iowa State University. Colby and his wife, Laurie, live in Adel with their two sons Braylon and Bryce.

Adam is a general practice attorney in Adel with the law firm of Hopkins & Huebner, P.C. Adam has been with Hopkins & Huebner since moving to Adel with his wife, Shanlyn, and two children, Brevin and Jaeley, in 2007. He has gotten involved in the community by becoming a board member on Adel Partners as well as becoming an active member in the Adel Rotary club.

Jane  is the manager at Adel HealthMart Pharmacy. Janeís family owns Dowd Drug in Guthrie Center where her father and sister, both pharmacists, as well as mother work. They purchased the pharmacy in 2008 from Roy Hicks. Jane graduated from Drake University in 2007. She joined the Partners board in July of 2009. Jane also belongs to the Rotary Club of Adel.

Tina is the Executive Assistant for Phillip Harrington at Kuder, Inc. and has been with the company for eleven years. Tina and her husband Jeff moved to Adel in 1991. Tina has been involved with the Raccoon Valley Humane Society as a board member and as a volunteer; she also served on the American Cancer ñ Relay for Life of Dallas County Board in the past. As a new member of the Partners board, Tina looks forward to learning more about Adel and its businesses.

Marketing & Public Relations – Chair: Lori Brocka
Oversee development and implementation of the Marketing Plan, including identifying potential markets and how to promote/sell Adel. Represent Adel Partners to the community; enhance the organization’s image, including communication with the media, the publishing of a newsletter and oversight of the website for Adel Partners, and oversight of Adel After Hours.

Design & Beautification - Chair: Lori Brocka
Oversee a partnership with City of Adel and Historic Preservation Commission to identify projects to enhance the city scape; assist with community historic preservation efforts.

Economic Development - Chair: Open
Oversee development and implementation of business support & training programs; available properties database; business recruitment and represent Adel Partners and other economic development organizations.
